My Latest Face by Kalyssa Tuz

Dance within the masquerade
Spinning to the music, grace
Mask still displayed on my face
Burning straight into my brain
Control the thoughts before they fade
Smiling for the new façade ―
Candle in the dark embrace
Keeping posture as it rains

Dance within a mass of graves
Spinning in the silence, grace
Mask still glued upon my face
Burning holes into their brains
Control the bodies while they fade
Smiling for the new façade ―
Candle melted from embrace
Keeping flames alight in rain

Dance within the masquerade
Smiling for the new façade ―
Start the cycle once again
