I will hold the hands of time for you
Bear the scars of every shattered soul
Lie scattered across many millennia ―
A weathered shell is what I will become

Drifting further beyond a pure abyss
The memories lost and scrambled in age
My payment arrives long overdue ―
A battle I have won for only love

It is through the pain, I found my hope
A natural balance, my life for yours

You will see my strength in every storm
Feel my presence within the calm
Guide you through each dusk and dawn ―
A face I will wear forever now

Growing quicker than I would like
Armed with compassion and wonder
You have the greatest gift I could give ―
A future rests within your hands
